PML-N optimistic about PPP's inclusion in next federal govt

Ahsan Iqbal, the leader of the PML-N, expressed optimism that the PPP will be included in the upcoming federal cabinet among the main parties' continuing efforts to establish coalitions in advance of creating the new administration. Ahsan underlined that his party would not be a part of the future government in the Center and would not take any federal ministries, although his remark came hours after Bilawal expressed his support for the PML-N nominee for prime minister. The former federal minister stated, "Insha-Allah, the Peoples Party would join the next cabinet. It is impossible that one partner bear all the burden." Speaking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, he asserted that the party is only present in one province since, according to polls conducted on February 8, the former ruling party won the most seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He stated that Maryam Nawaz, who is nominated to be the chief minister of the largest province in the nation, is being led by an experienced team in Punjab.
